Last night I went out with the wife to see the new Miramax flick
Bad Santa, and I must say that was one sick film, but I liked it. Done in the vain of a Kevin Smith movie, it has all the off color humor in it, but it isn’t nearly as good as a Kevin Smith flick.
It seemed to have at least 2 sub plots chopped from the final version, and it wouldn’t surprise me that some of it was done to keep it an R rating.
No nudity, no drugs, and just a small bit of gun violence, but I’m sure the quantity of f-bombs and the topic of a drunk, horny Santa really made the MPAA’s eyes bleed.
I liked it better than Scary Movie 3.
If you are into the sick, off color humor, don’t get offended easily, and are into the indie movie scene this is a definite must see.
